On June 26, 2012 the Board of Supervisors received a report on a new collaborative structure to address homelessness within Santa Barbara County. The Board of Supervisors unanimously supported the new structure,

The Central Coast Collaborative on Homelessness consists of ten (10) members.

Duties:
Set policy to facilitate strategic solutions to homelessness countywide. Make recommendations regarding government/public funding and resources allocations. Provide opportunities for public input and comment regarding effective and efficient delivery of homeless related resources as well as reducing homelessness throughout Santa Barbara County
Meeting Date and Location:
The Policy Council meets quarterly in a location where remote testimony is available.
