Legal Authority:
The County Riding and Hiking Trails Advisory Committee was established by The Board of Supervisors; Resolution 90-757.

Membership:
The County Riding and Hiking Trails Advisory committee consists of twenty (20) members, with a maximum of four (4) from each Supervisorial District.

Term:
The Commission members serve at the pleasure of the Supervisor or until a successor is appointed.

Duties:
Members serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors regarding the programs, policies and procedures affecting County recreational riding and hiking trails and their use.

Meeting Date and Location:
The County Riding and Hiking Trails Advisory Committee meets Bi-monthly starting in January, on the 2nd Monday of the month. Meeting locations alternate between Lake Cachuma Recreation Hall and So County Parks Operations Yard – Conference Room.
