Title: Consider recommendations regarding an Ordinance amending Chapter 29 of the Santa Barbara County Code relating to the regulation of water softeners in the Laguna County Sanitation District, Third, Fourth and Fifth Districts, as follows: a) Consider the adoption (second reading) of an Ordinance amending Article III of Chapter 29 of the Santa Barbara County Code Relating to the Regulation of Water Softeners in the Laguna County Sanitation District; b) Find that the proposed Ordinance amendment is for the protection of the environment and does not involve construction activities or relaxation of standards and is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to 14 CCR 15308 (Actions by Regulatory Agencies for the Protection of the Environment); and c) Approve the filing of a Notice of Exemption.
