HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding potential advocacy on Legislation AB 3 (Williams): Isla Vista Community Services District, as follows: (EST. TIME: 1 HR.)
Option 1:
a) Take an advocacy position of support, watch, or oppose on AB 3 (Williams): Isla Vista Community Services District;
b) Direct staff to forward, and approve and authorize the Chair to execute a letter stating the Board's decision to the legislative author, members of the legislature including, but not limited to, the county legislative delegation, and appropriate committee chairs; and
c) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guideline 15378(b)(5) that the above action is not a project subject to CEQA review because it is an administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment; or
Option 2:
a) Take no position on AB 3 (Williams): Isla Vista Community Services District; and
b) Determine pursuant to CEQA Guideline 15378(b)(5) that the above action is not a project subject to CEQA review because it is an administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
