Title

Consider recommendations regarding Jalama Road Bridge No. 51C-013 rehabilitation, first contract amendment, Federal Project No. BRLS-5951 (142), County Project No. 863018, Third  District, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the First Amendment to the Contract with R. Burke Corporation, P.O. Box 957 San Luis Obispo, CA 93406 (not a local vendor) for the rehabilitation of the Jalama Road Bridge No. 51C-013, Federal Project No. BRLS-5951 (142), County Project No. 863018 in an amount not to exceed $97,000.00 for a revised total contract authorization of $1,885,458.45, including contingency and supplemental work items; and

 

b) Find that pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15162, no substantial changes are proposed, and no new information of substantial importance has come to light regarding environmental effects of the project or of the sufficiency or feasibility of mitigation measures, and therefore the proposed actions are within the scope of the Final Mitigated Negative Declaration (13NGD-00000-0005) and Mitigation Monitoring Program adopted by the Board upon approval of the project on June 14, 2014, and that therefore no new environmental document is required.
