HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding a response to the 2016-2017 Grand Jury Report: Youth Safety in Santa Maria, as follows: (EST. TIME: 15 MIN.)
a) Consider and adopt the responses as the Board of Supervisors' response to the 2016-2017 Grand Jury report entitled "Youth Safety in Santa Maria";
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a letter and forward the letter and responses to the Presiding Judge of Santa Barbara County Superior Court; and
c) Determine pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5) organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes to the environment are not a project subject to CEQA review.
