Consider recommendations regarding Authorization of Agreement for Services with MRS Environmental to Complete an Environmental Impact Report for the PetroRock United California, California and Bradley (UCCB) project, Fifth District, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with MRS Environmental to complete an Environmental Impact Report for the PetroRock, LLC (PetroRock) UCCB project for the period of July 3, 2018 through July 3, 2020 for a base amount of $217,251.00 and a total contract amount not to exceed $249,839.00;

 

b) Authorize the Director of Planning and Development, or designee, to approve up to a 15 percent contingency cost not to exceed $32,588.00 for services being performed under the Agreement for a total contract amount not to exceed $249,839.00; and

 

c) Determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5), which addresses organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes to the environment.
