Title: Consider recommendations regarding the Locumtenens.com Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-2018 Second Amendment, as follows: a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute a Second Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Locumtenens.com (not a local vendor), to increase the maximum contract amount for FY 2017-2018 by $55,000.00, for locum tenens psychiatry services provided at the County's request beyond the original value of the Agreement, for a new total contact amount not to exceed $1,855,000.00 for the period July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018; and b) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in potentially physical impact on the environment, and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA guidelines.
