Title: HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding Public Safety Dispatch Separation, as follows: (EST. TIME: 1 HR.) a) Receive and file an update from staff on Public Safety Dispatch alternatives; b) Direct staff to return with a complete estimate of engineering and staffing costs for both of the recommended Regional Fire Communications Facility (RFCF) options: i) Option 1: Expand the existing Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to accommodate a Regional Fire Communications Facility; and ii) Option 2: Build a new facility adjacent to the existing Public Safety Dispatch Center; c) Provide other direction as appropriate; and d) Determine this action is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5), which are organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes to the environment.
