HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Recommended Budget, as follows:
a) Receive, consider, and file the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Recommended Budget;
b) Approve final budget adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Recommended Budget;
c) Adopt a Resolution entitled In the Matter of Adopting the Budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020;
d) Approve budget adjustments as amended during the hearings, to the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Recommended Budget;
e) Delegate authority to the Chair to execute renewal of single-year grants and contracts previously approved by the Board and included in the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Recommended Budget, where contract amounts are within 10% of previously contracted amounts;
f) Receive the draft Salary Resolution, direct any specific changes made during the June 2019 budget hearings, and adopt that amended Salary Resolution to be effective July 1, 2019, which updates job classifications and department position allocations to include positions approved by the Board during the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 budget hearings;
g) Adopt position changes previously approved by the County Executive Officer during Fiscal Year 2018-2019 under Board Resolution 99-486; and
h) Determine pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) that the above fiscal activities are not a project subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
