Consider recommendations regarding the purchase of Tax Delinquent Property on Lower Mission Creek, City of Santa Barbara, First District, as follows:

 

Acting as the Board of Directors, Flood Control and Water Conservation District:

 

a) Authorize the Public Works Director or designee to sign, on behalf of the Santa Barbara County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, the Application to Purchase Tax Defaulted Property from the Santa Barbara County Treasurer-Tax Collector and all other documents or actions necessary to purchase Assessor’s Parcel Number 027-081-013;

 

b) Adopt the Resolution entitled “In the Matter of Purchasing Tax Defaulted Property of Assessor Parcel Number 027-081-013”; and

 

c) Determine the above actions are not a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because the actions consist of organizational or administrative activities of the government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
