Title: Consider recommendations regarding the execution of Grant Agreement between the County of Santa Barbara and the City of Santa Barbara for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2020 Arts and Culture Programs and Projects, as follows: a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute an agreement with the City of Santa Barbara to receive a grant in the amount of $475,100.00 for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 for the County's Office of Arts and Culture to implement and administer the City's arts grant program and to provide administrative services in support of the City's arts programs; and b) Determine that the approval and execution of the Agreement is not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the action is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specifi...

Consider recommendations regarding the execution of Grant Agreement between the County of Santa Barbara and the City of Santa Barbara for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2020 Arts and Culture Programs and Projects, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute an agreement with the City of Santa Barbara to receive a grant in the amount of $475,100.00 for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 for the County's Office of Arts and Culture to implement and administer the City's arts grant program and to provide administrative services in support of the City's arts programs; and

 

b) Determine that the approval and execution of the Agreement is not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the action is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
