Title: Consider recommendations regarding the acceptance of State COVID-19 Emergency Homelessness Funding, as follows: a) Approve and ratify the receipt of $351,371.72 in State COVID-19 Emergency Homelessness Funding (COVID-19 Funding) awarded to the Santa Maria/Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care (CoC); b) Approve and ratify the receipt of $323,271.37 in COVID-19 Funding awarded to County; c) Ratify the Community Services Director's execution of the grant agreements, request for funds form, and government agency taxpayer ID form, and authorize him, or his designee, to execute all certifications, standard forms, and other related documents required for the acceptance and administration of the above-described COVID-19 Emergency Homelessness funds; and d) Determine that the recommended actions are not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5) and 15378(b)(4), fin...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding the acceptance of State COVID-19 Emergency Homelessness Funding, as follows:

 

a) Approve and ratify the receipt of $351,371.72 in State COVID-19 Emergency Homelessness Funding (COVID-19 Funding) awarded to the Santa Maria/Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care (CoC);

 

b) Approve and ratify the receipt of $323,271.37 in COVID-19 Funding awarded to County;

 

c) Ratify the Community Services Director’s execution of the grant agreements, request for funds form, and government agency taxpayer ID form, and authorize him, or his designee, to execute all certifications, standard forms, and other related documents required for the acceptance and administration of the above-described COVID-19 Emergency Homelessness funds; and

 

d) Determine that the recommended actions are not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5) and 15378(b)(4), finding that the recommended actions consist of administrative or fiscal activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
