Title: Consider recommendations regarding the Donation of a refrigerated trailer valued at $17,200.00 from Hub City Terminals, Inc., as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Accept a donation of a refrigerated trailer valued at $17,200.00 from Hub City Terminals, Inc. for use at the Sheriff's Coroner facility; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 006983 to increase appropriations of $17,200.00 in Sheriff's General Fund for Capital Assets funded by donation from Hub City Terminals, Inc.; and c) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "project" under the California Environmental Quality Act because it is within the exception provided by 14 CCR 15378(b)(4) for "[t]he creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment."
