Consider recommendations regarding Alcohol and Drug Prevention Services Contract Renewals with Fighting Back Santa Maria Valley Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-2022, Future Leaders of America FY 2020-2022, Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People FY 2020-2022, as follows:
a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Fighting Back Santa Maria Valley, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (a local vendor), for the provision of substance use prevention services for a total maximum contract amount not to exceed $240,000.00 for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022;
b) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Future Leaders of America, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (not a local vendor), for the provision of substance use prevention services for a total maximum contract amount not to exceed $240,000.00 for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022;
c) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (a local vendor), for the provision of substance use prevention services for a total maximum contract amount not to exceed $342,000.00 for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022;
d) Delegate to the Director of the Department of Behavioral Wellness or designee the authority to make immaterial changes to the agreements; amend the program goals, outcomes, and measures in each Exhibit E of the agreements; to reallocate funds at her discretion during the term of the agreements without altering the maximum contract amounts, all without requiring formal amendment to the agreements, subject to the Board's ability to rescind this delegated authority at any time; and
