Consider recommendations regarding the acceptance of appropriations for First 5 Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara County, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Accept $99,942.10 of one-time funding for First 5 Santa Barbara County to coordinate the Home Visitation Coordination grant received from First 5 California; First 5 Santa Barbara County will take action for final Commission acceptance on October 19, 2020;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0007254 to establish appropriations of $49,327.00 in First 5 Santa Barbara County’s First 5 Child and Families Commission Fund for Salaries and Employee Benefits and Services and Supplies funded by unanticipated revenue from First 5 California; and

 

c) Determine that the activity is not a “Project” subject to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
