Title: Consider recommendations regarding the purchase of Sheriff's Data Center Hardware from and installation of a Disaster Recovery Site by CompuWave Inc., as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a contract with CompuWave in the amount not to exceed $900,000.00 for the purchase of a replacement primary Data Center Hardware at the Public Safety Dispatch Center and for installation of a new Disaster Recovery Site in the Northern Branch Jail; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0007965 for $900,000.00 to increase funding for the total project that includes hardware, implementation, and consulting services; and c) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378(b) (4) that the above fiscal activity is not a project subject to the CEQA.
