Title: Consider recommendations regarding an amendment to a cooperative agreement between the County of Santa Barbara, the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) and the City of Goleta for a minor revision allowing certain facilities to be placed in a road right of way, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment No. 1 to the cooperative agreement by and among The Regents of the University of California, a California public corporation, on behalf of UCSB, the City of Goleta, and the County of Santa Barbara, to make a minor revision to allow certain facilities to be placed in a road right of way; and b) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines, because it consists of the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activities, which does not involve any commitment to any specific ...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding an amendment to a cooperative agreement between the County of Santa Barbara, the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) and the City of Goleta for a minor revision allowing certain facilities to be placed in a road right of way, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment No. 1 to the cooperative agreement by and among The Regents of the University of California, a California public corporation, on behalf of UCSB, the City of Goleta, and the County of Santa Barbara, to make a minor revision to allow certain facilities to be placed in a road right of way; and

 

b) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines, because it consists of the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activities, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment.
