Title

Consider recommendations regarding the third amendment to a subrecipient agreement with United Way of Santa Barbara County for continued administration and implementation of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) pursuant to Santa Barbara County’s direct allocation of United States Department of the Treasury (Treasury), Emergency Rental Assistance Round One (ERA 1), funds, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a third amendment to the subrecipient agreement with United Way of Santa Barbara County for continued administration and implementation of an ERAP funded under the 2021 Consolidated Appropriations Act that created the initial ERAP (ERA 1) for a new total contract maximum amount not to exceed $16,478,948.68; and

 

b) Determine that the above recommended actions are not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the project is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
