a) Receive and file information about the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 preliminary budget;
b) Provide direction, if any, regarding items to be addressed or included in the County Executive Officer’s (CEO’s) Recommended Budget, scheduled for release in May 2021 and Board adoption scheduled for June 8, 2021 and June 10, 2021;
c) Provide direction, if any, regarding Special Issues or other items; and
d) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines 15378(b)(4) that the above actions are not a project subject to CEQA review, because it is a government fiscal activity that does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.

c) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign funding request letters for Community Project Funding and Transportation Reauthorization Bill Funding;
d) Provide other direction as appropriate; and
e) Determine that the above actions are not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), because pursuant to sections 15378(b)(4) and 15378(b)(5) the recommended actions consist of organizational, administrative or fiscal activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
