Board of Supervisors' Minute Order dated September 3, 1991.

Membership:
The Legislative Program Committee is made up of five members consisting of: two Supervisors or their alternatives to be appointed by the Board of Supervisors; County Administrator; Auditor-Controller, and County Counsel.

Term:
The Legislative Program Committee is made of annual appointments pursuant to the Legislature's preparation for the current year's session.

Duties:
The Legislative Program Committee is charged the following duties:

a) Recommending County legislative positions and County-sponsored legislation;

b) Recommending to the Board of Supervisors proposed resolution to interdepartmental disagreements on legislative positions;

c) Evaluating the Legislative Program.
 

Meeting Date and Location:
The Legislative Program Committee meets the first Monday of each month (unless rescheduled). The committee meetings are held in the Board of Supervisors Conference Room.
