Consider recommendations regarding the Approval of Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center Agreement with the City of Carpinteria; First, Second, and Third Districts, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center Agreement Between the City of Carpinteria and the County of Santa Barbara for the use of the Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center located on the University of California, Santa Barbara campus; and
b) Determine that the above-recommended action is not a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5), finding that the action consists of administrative activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
