Title
Consider recommendations regarding Agreement Amendments for Animal Services within the County of Santa Barbara, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with the City of Goleta to provide animal control services for the period of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 in the amount of $405,435.00 ($199,035.00 for Fiscal Year 2013/2014 and $206,400.00 for Fiscal Year 2014/2015);
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with the City of Guadalupe to provide animal control services for the period of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 in the amount of $96,136.00 ($47,195.00 for Fiscal Year 2013/2014 and $48,941.00 for Fiscal Year 2014/2015);
c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with the City of Lompoc to provide animal control services for the period of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 in the amount of $534,338.00 ($262,316.00 for Fiscal Year 2013/2014 and $272,022.00 for Fiscal Year 2014/2015);
d) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with the City of Santa Barbara to provide animal sheltering services for the period of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 in the amount of $629,639.00 ($309,101.00 for Fiscal Year 2013/2014 and $320,538.00 for Fiscal Year 2014/2015);
e) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with the City of Santa Maria to provide animal control services for the period of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 in the amount of $1,300,000.00 ($625,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2013/2014 and $675,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2014/2015);
f) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians to provide animal control services for the period of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 in the amount of $3,306.00 ($1,623.00 for Fiscal Year 2013/2014 and $1,683.00 for Fiscal Year 2014/2015); and
g) Determine that these activities are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review per CEQA Guideline Section 15061(b)(3), since it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activities may have a significant effect on the environment.
