Title
Consider recommendations regarding the renewal of Base Hospital / Receiving Hospital (BH/RH) agreements with five hospitals in Santa Barbara County, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute agreement with Marian Medical Center to continue to be designated as a Base Hospital / Receiving Hospital and to continue to provide medical direction of pre-hospital emergency medical care and to receive patients through the emergency medical services system for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 and to renew from year to each January 1, for an additional year unless cancelled by either party;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute agreement with Lompoc Valley Medical Center to continue to be designated as a Base Hospital / Receiving Hospital and to continue to provide medical direction of pre-hospital emergency medical care and to receive patients through the emergency medical services system for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 and to renew from year to each January 1, for an additional year unless cancelled by either party;
c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute agreement with Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital to continue to be designated as a Base Hospital / Receiving Hospital and to continue to provide medical direction of pre-hospital emergency medical care and to receive patients through the emergency medical services system for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 and to renew from year to each January 1, for an additional year unless cancelled by either party;
d) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute agreement with Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital to continue to be designated as a Base Hospital / Receiving Hospital and to continue to provide medical direction of pre-hospital emergency medical care and to receive patients through the emergency medical services system for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 and to renew from year to each January 1, for an additional year unless cancelled by either party; and
e) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute agreement with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital to continue to be designated as a Base Hospital / Receiving Hospital and to continue to provide medical direction of pre-hospital emergency medical care and to receive patients through the emergency medical services system for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 and to renew from year to each January 1, for an additional year unless cancelled by either party.
