Title: Consider recommendations regarding Outside Counsel Contract Amendment No. 2 with Hooper, Lundy and Bookman, P.C. for Privacy Legal Services, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute, on behalf of the County of Santa Barbara, Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for Professional Legal Services with Hooper, Lundy and Bookman, P.C. to extend the term of the contract until October 7, 2027; and b) Determine that the above actions are not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because they consist of administrative activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
