Title

Consider recommendations regarding a Grant Agreement with Sierra Health Foundation: Center for Health Program Management for the provisions of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Access Point Project, Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2020, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Director of Behavioral Wellness or designee to execute the multiyear grant agreement with Sierra Health Foundation, Center for Health Program Management (a California nonprofit public benefit corporation) for the provision of MAT services in support of the MAT Access Point Project in the amount of $75,000.00 for the period of June 1, 2019 to August June 30, 2020 (MAT Project Grant);

 

b) Approve a Budget Revision Request No. 0006527 increasing appropriations of $75,000.00 in the Behavioral Wellness Department, Alcohol and Drug Program Fund for $35,700.00 for Salaries and Benefits and $39,300.00 in Services and Supplies funded by unanticipated revenue from the MAT Project Grant;

 

c) Approve and authorize the Director of Behavioral Wellness to execute any subsequent reports or amendments that do not change the amount or the substantive terms of the MAT Project Grant, subject to the Board’s authority to rescind this authority at any time; and

 

d) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment, and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA guidelines.
