Title

Consider recommendations regarding an Acceptance of Additional State Funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Emergency Management Performance Grant Program COVID-19 Supplemental (EMPG-S), as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the County Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Office of Emergency Management (OEM) or designee, to accept an additional allocation of $109,696.00 from the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) for FY 2020 EMPG-S with a period of performance from January 27, 2020 to October 26, 2021;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0007195 to increase appropriations in the amount of $109,696.00 in the County Executive Office General Fund for Services and Supplies funded by unanticipated EMPG-S revenue from the California Office of Emergency Services; and

 

c) Determine that the proposed action is related to the creation of a government funding mechanism and other fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment, and is therefore is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guideline section 15378 (b)(4).
