Title
Adopt a resolution to authorize the execution of contracts with the California Coastal Conservancy for two grant awards under the Southern California Wetlands Recovery Program, as follows:
a) Authorize the Planning and Development Director, or designee, to execute the Grant Agreement (Contract No. 01-181) and all subsequent agreements or amendments with the Coastal Conservancy in accordance with the resolution for the Devereux Slough/ Ellwood Mesa Regional Open Space and Development Master Plan (Joint Proposal for the Ellwood-Devereux Coast) in the amount of $110,000 to prepare a restoration plan and environmental review for the planning project;
b) Authorize the Parks Director, or designee, to execute the Grant Agreement (Contract No. 01-182) and all subsequent agreements or amendments with the Coastal Conservancy in accordance with the resolution for the Summerland Greenwell Preserve Enhancement Plan in the amount of $40,000 to implement restoration and enhancement of the park site.
