Title: Consider recommendations regarding Anderson Conservation Easement - Deposit of funds to Superior Court, Third District, as follows: a) Authorize the Director of the General Services Department, or designee, to expend existing available funds originally allocated to the Department for the Anderson Purisima Hills Conservation Easement Project and deposit the sum of $41,600.00 with the Santa Barbara Superior Court in order to acquire an easement in the case of County of Santa Barbara v. Anderson, et al; and b) Determine that the proposed deposit is not a "project" under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines, pursuant to Section 15378 (b) (4); in that it does not involve a commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact to the environment.
