Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Professional Biological Resources Assessment Service Agreement with Storrer Environmental Services, LLC for a recreational trail system on a County owned parcel located in the Solomon Hills south of Orcutt (APN 101-020-076), Fourth District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the biological resources assessment service agreement with Storrer Environmental Services, LLC (Contractor) in the amount not to exceed $17,143.00 for a possible future recreational trail system on a County owned parcel located in the Solomon Hills south of Orcutt (APN 101-020-076); and b) Determine that the above recommended actions are exempt from further review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines, pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3); which states that the activity is covered by the common-sense exemption that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Title

Consider recommendations regarding a Professional Biological Resources Assessment Service Agreement with Storrer Environmental Services, LLC for a recreational trail system on a County owned parcel located in the Solomon Hills south of Orcutt (APN 101-020-076), Fourth District, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the biological resources assessment service agreement with Storrer Environmental Services, LLC (Contractor) in the amount not to exceed $17,143.00 for a possible future recreational trail system on a County owned parcel located in the Solomon Hills south of Orcutt (APN 101-020-076); and

 

b) Determine that the above recommended actions are exempt from further review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines, pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3); which states that the activity is covered by the common-sense exemption that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA.
