Consider recommendations regarding an Award of Contract to Los Angeles Air Conditioning (not a local vendor) for Administration Building Chiller Replacement Project No. F01005, as follows:
a) Approve the plans and project specifications for the Santa Barbara County Administration Building Chiller Replacement Project No. F01005;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the award of a contract to Los Angeles Air Conditioning for the replacement of the Santa Barbara County Administration Building Chiller in the amount of $ 2,079,000 dollars; and
c) Authorize the Director of General Services to approve change orders of an amount not to exceed 10% of a base amount of $250,000 plus 5% of the bid in excess of the base amount or $116,450.00 for this contract.
