Title: Consider recommendations regarding the Deputy Sheriffs' Association (Association) Successor Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), August 17, 2026 through July 2, 2028, as follows: a) Approve, authorize, and ratify the County Human Resources Department to execute the successor MOU between the County of Santa Barbara (County) and the Association, and authorize the Human Resources Director, or designee to sign the successor MOU establishing wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for the period of August 17, 2026, through July 2, 2028; and b) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) that the above action is a government fiscal activity which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment and therefore is not a project subject to environmental review.
