Title: Consider recommendations regarding Emergency Shelter Care Lease with Chander and Tammy Letulle (Folio No. 003093), Third District, as follows: a) Determine that the services provided by Chander and Tammy Letulle are necessary to meet the social needs of the County, and that Chander and Tammy Letulle therefore qualify for a rent subsidy pursuant to Government Code §26227; b) Determine that the County-owned property located at 377 Storke Road, in Goleta, will not be needed for County purposes for the next few years; c) Approve and execute a Lease Agreement granting Chander and Tammy Letulle the right to lease the above referenced county-owned property for the purpose of providing emergency shelter care services for abused, neglected and abandoned children, for a term of one year commencing on July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005, and renewed annually concurrent with the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor (Emergency Shelter Care Servicers) dated June 15, 2004, at...

a)  Determine that the services provided by Chander and Tammy Letulle are necessary to meet the social needs of the County, and that Chander and Tammy Letulle therefore qualify for a rent subsidy pursuant to Government Code §26227;
 
b)  Determine that the County-owned property located at 377 Storke Road, in Goleta, will not be needed for County purposes for the next few years;
 
c)  Approve and execute a Lease Agreement granting Chander and Tammy Letulle the right to lease the above referenced county-owned property for the purpose of providing emergency shelter care services for abused, neglected and abandoned children, for a term of one year commencing on July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005, and renewed annually concurrent with the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor (Emergency Shelter Care Servicers) dated June 15, 2004, at a below fair market rent amount of $250 per month.
