Title

Consider recommendations regarding the execution of State of California Homeless Emergency Aid Program (HEAP) Sub-recipient Agreements, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute sub-recipient agreements for the distribution of State of California HEAP funds with the following providers in the specified amounts:

 

i) $385,926.00 to Domestic Violence Solutions (DVS) for the DVS Housing First Program;

 

ii) $550,000.00 to Northern Santa Barbara County United Way (United Way) for Home for Good; and

 

iii) $380,000.00 to PATH Santa Barbara for Lease Up SB!; and

 

b) Determine that the recommended actions are not the acceptance and approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the project is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
