Title: Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Agreement with Good Samaritan Shelter (GSS) for Street Outreach through Opioid Settlement Funds (OSF), as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement between the County and GSS for the use of OSF for a homeless outreach and engagement support team to extend term from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026; b) Approve the addition of $750,000.00 for program operations and client services; c) Authorize the Community Services Director, or designee, to execute budget amendments in alignment with the agreement and requirements to ensure full expenditure of the Opioid Settlement funds; and d) Determine that the above recommended actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) as the actions involve the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which...

Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Agreement with Good Samaritan Shelter (GSS) for Street Outreach through Opioid Settlement Funds (OSF), as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement between the County and GSS for the use of OSF for a homeless outreach and engagement support team to extend term from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026;

c) Authorize the Community Services Director, or designee, to execute budget amendments in alignment with the agreement and requirements to ensure full expenditure of the Opioid Settlement funds; and
