Title: Consider recommendations regarding Emergency Shelter Care Lease by Lillian and Phillip Pipersberg, 377 Storke Road, Goleta, Third District, as follows: a) Determine that the services provided by Lillian and Phillip Pipersberg are necessary to meet the social needs of the County, and that Lillian and Phillip Pipersberg therefore qualify for a rent subsidy pursuant to Government Code §26227; b) Determine that the County-owned property located at 377 Storke Road, in Goleta, will not be needed for County purposes for the next few years; and c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the proposed Lease Agreement granting Lillian and Phillip Pipersberg the right to lease the above referenced County-owned property for the purpose of providing emergency shelter care services for abused, neglected and abandoned children, for a term of one year commencing on September 23, 2008 through August 31, 2009, and renewed annually concurrent with the Agreement for Services of Independent Cont...

Consider recommendations regarding Emergency Shelter Care Lease by Lillian and Phillip Pipersberg, 377 Storke Road, Goleta, Third District, as follows:
 
a) Determine that the services provided by Lillian and Phillip Pipersberg are necessary to meet the social needs of the County, and that Lillian and Phillip Pipersberg therefore qualify for a rent subsidy pursuant to Government Code §26227;
