Title
Consider recommendations regarding submittal to the California Coastal Commission for Certification of the Article II Coastal Zoning Ordinance General Package Ordinance Amendment and Telecommunications Ordinance Amendment, as follows:
a) Adopt a Resolution submitting to the California Coastal Commission amendments to the text of the Article II Coastal Zoning Ordinance of Chapter 35 of the Santa Barbara County Code, a portion of the Santa Barbara County Local Coastal Program; and
b) Direct staff to submit the following Local Coastal Program amendments to the California Coastal Commission for certification:
i) Case No. 11ORD-00000-00007, an Ordinance amending Article II, the Santa Barbara County Coastal Zoning Ordinance, of Chapter 35, Zoning, of the Santa Barbara County Code to revise the existing procedures and development standards that regulate the construction and use of commercial telecommunications facilities; and
ii) Case No. 11ORD-00000-00014, an Ordinance amending Article II, the Santa Barbara County Coastal Zoning Ordinance, of Chapter 35, Zoning, of the Santa Barbara County Code to implement a series of amendments that address emerging issues and correct and clarify existing ordinance language.
