Title

Consider recommendations regarding the First Amendment to Grant No. 21-10585 for the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Program Management and Collaboration Project, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment 1 to Grant Agreement Number 21-10585 A1 with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) that funds the implementation of the Disease Intervention Specialist (DIS) Workforce Development Project to decrease the amount by $326,116.00 for a revised amount of $489,174.00, and to extend the term of the grant by one year through January 31, 2026;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Public Health Director, or designee, to make any required certifications and Project Representative changes in accordance with the Grant Agreement; and

 

c) Determine that the recommended action is not a “project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4) since the recommended action is a government fiscal activity that does not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
