Title: Consider recommendations regarding Children's Health Initiative - Contract Extension Amendment, as follows: a) Approve an amendment to the Agreement between the County of Santa Barbara and Foundation of Santa Barbara Regional Health Authority, Inc. (dba Doorway to Health) for Fiscal Years 2009-2010 to 2013-2014 to provide health (medical, dental, vision) insurance to children residing in Santa Barbara County with family incomes under 300% of the Federal Poverty level, who do not qualify for Medi-Cal, and determine that such program serves public purposes. This is known as the Healthy Kids Program. The amendment: i) Extends the current term to September 30, 2014; and ii) Provides payment of up to $275,000.00 of appropriated funds for the extended term of the Contract; and b) Determine that the above actions do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment, and are therefore not a project u...

Consider recommendations regarding Children's Health Initiative - Contract Extension Amendment, as follows:
 
a) Approve an amendment to the Agreement between the County of Santa Barbara and Foundation of Santa Barbara Regional Health Authority, Inc. i) Extends the current term to September 30, 2014; and
