Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Second Amendment to the HIV Prevention Program Grant Agreement with California Department of Public Health (CDPH), as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Grant Agreement No. 22-10796 A2 with CDPH to increase the amount by $38,122.50 for a revised total of $129,616.50, and to extend the term of the grant by two months through July 31, 2024; b) Approve and authorize the Public Health Director to execute any future amendments to Agreement No. 22-10796 so long as the amount does not exceed 10% ($12,962.00) of the agreement amount and there are no significant changes in the scope of work, upon review and approval by the Auditor-Controller, Risk Management, and County Counsel, subject to the Board's ability to rescind the authority at any time; c) Approve and authorize the Public Health Director to make and sign all required certifications under the Agreement No. 22-10796 A2; and d) Determine that the...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding a Second Amendment to the HIV Prevention Program Grant Agreement with California Department of Public Health (CDPH), as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Grant Agreement No. 22-10796 A2 with CDPH to increase the amount by $38,122.50 for a revised total of $129,616.50, and to extend the term of the grant by two months through July 31, 2024;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Public Health Director to execute any future amendments to Agreement No. 22-10796 so long as the amount does not exceed 10% ($12,962.00) of the agreement amount and there are no significant changes in the scope of work, upon review and approval by the Auditor-Controller, Risk Management, and County Counsel, subject to the Board’s ability to rescind the authority at any time;

d) Determine that the recommended actions are not a “project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4) since the recommended actions are government fiscal activities that do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
