Title: Consider recommendations regarding Fiscal Year 2006-07 START Project Contracts, in the Carpinteria area, First District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a contract with the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) for the START Program to provide a cohesive continuum of family-school-community interventions to facilitate learning and promote healthy development of youth. The contract is from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007 in the amount of $120,000; b) Authorize a contract amendment with Family Service Agency (FSA) for the START Program to provide a cohesive continuum of family-school-community interventions to facilitate learning and promote healthy development of youth. The contract is from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007 with the amendment amount of $120,000 making the new FSA contract total $1,129,300; and c) Authorize the Director of ADMHS to approve amendments to the proposed contracts, provided that any such amendments do not exceed ten percent...

Consider recommendations regarding Fiscal Year 2006-07 START Project Contracts, in the Carpinteria area, First District, as follows:
 
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a contract with the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) for the START Program to provide a cohesive continuum of family-school-community interventions to facilitate learning and promote healthy development of youth. The contract is from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007 in the amount of $120,000;
