Title: Consider recommendations regarding the release of set aside for Deputy Sheriffs' Association Successor Memorandum of Understanding Costs, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 1648 to increase appropriations for salaries and benefits by $812,100.00 in Sheriff General Fund, funded by a release of the $812,100.00 set aside established by the Board of Supervisors for Sheriff costs on June 16, 2026; b) Receive a report on the status of the Isla Vista Foot Patrol negotiations with the University of California, Santa Barbara; and c) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) that the above action is a government fiscal activity which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment and therefore is not a project subject to environmental review.
