Title: Consider recommendations regarding an Ordinance amending portions of Chapter 12A and Chapter 24A of the County Code to regulate use of off-street county parking facilities, as follows: a) Consider the adoption (Second Reading) of an Ordinance amending Santa Barbara County Code Chapter 12A, County-Owned Property, to add a new Article V, Use of Off-Street County Parking Facilities, Sections 12A-22 through 12A-27 pertaining to the restriction and regulation of parking, stopping, and standing of vehicles on any off-street parking facility which the County owns or operates, and amending Chapter 24A of the Santa Barbara County Code, Administrative Fines, Sections 24A-1 through 24A-7, authorizing administrative enforcement of violations of Chapter 12A, Article V; and b) Find that the proposed actions are exempt from the provision of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines section 15301, as they consist of regulating the operation of public faciliti...

Consider recommendations regarding an Ordinance amending portions of Chapter 12A and Chapter 24A of the County Code to regulate use of off-street county parking facilities, as follows:

 

a) Consider the adoption (Second Reading) of an Ordinance amending Santa Barbara County Code Chapter 12A, County-Owned Property, to add a new Article V, Use of Off-Street County Parking Facilities, Sections 12A-22 through 12A-27 pertaining to the restriction and regulation of parking, stopping, and standing of vehicles on any off-street parking facility which the County owns or operates, and amending Chapter 24A of the Santa Barbara County Code, Administrative Fines, Sections 24A-1 through 24A-7, authorizing administrative enforcement of violations of Chapter 12A, Article V; and

 

b) Find that the proposed actions are exempt from the provision of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines section 15301, as they consist of regulating the operation of public facilities involving negligible or no expansion of existing use, and approve and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption on that basis.
