Title: Consider recommendations regarding a contract with Satellite Tracking of People (STOP) for electronic monitoring services, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a contract between the County and STOP (not a local vendor) for electronic monitoring services for the Sheriff's Department for the period of one (1) year commencing from the date of approval with automatic renewal for three (3) one year terms; and b) Approve Budget Revision 2007536 shifting $90,000 in Extra Help and Overtime expense to Special Departmental expense to cover the cost of the contract for the remainder of FY 2008-09.
