Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System (WREGIS) Agreement for Renewable Energy Credits at the Tajiguas Landfill; Third District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Public Works Director, or his designee, to execute and amend the WREGIS terms of use Agreement with the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), specifically for the renewable energy generated by the Tajiguas Landfill gas collection system for the certification of renewable energy credits; and b) Determine that the above-recommended action is not a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5), finding that the action consists of administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
