Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Volunteer and Clinical Support Services Agreement with A.T. Still University of Health Sciences (ATSU), as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a Professional Services Agreement with ATSU (learning institution) for volunteer and clinical support services including income generation to the County of up to $31,500.00 per year with a period for performance from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2028; b) Approve and authorize the Director of Public Health, or designee, to make immaterial changes in accordance with Section 34 of the Agreement, subject to the Board's ability to rescind this delegation at any time; and c) Determine that the recommended actions are not a "project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines, because the recommended actions are government fiscal activities that do not involve commitment to any s...

Consider recommendations regarding a Volunteer and Clinical Support Services Agreement with A.T. Still University of Health Sciences (ATSU), as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a Professional Services Agreement with ATSU (learning institution) for volunteer and clinical support services including income generation to the County of up to $31,500.00 per year with a period for performance from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2028;

b) Approve and authorize the Director of Public Health, or designee, to make immaterial changes in accordance with Section 34 of the Agreement, subject to the Board’s ability to rescind this delegation at any time; and

c) Determine that the recommended actions are not a “project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines, because the recommended actions are government fiscal activities that do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment.
