Consider recommendations regarding Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services Professional Service Contract renewals for Fiscal Year 2003-04, as follows:
a) Approve and execute ADMHS contract renewals for the period of July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004, as follows:
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, (a local vendor) in the amount of $300,000, for voluntary in-patient services rendered to severely mentally ill adults with Medi-Cal Insurance;
Work Training Programs, Inc., (a local vendor) in the amount of $475,000, for residential services in a local 12 bed psychiatric rehabilitation program;
Child Abuse Listening & Mediation, Inc., (a local vendor), in the amount of $675,688, to provide children's mental health services to youth who are at-risk of out-of-home or higher level of care placement;
Casa Pacifica, (not a local vendor) in the amount of $733,333, to provide mental health services, intensive day treatment, medication support, crisis intervention and Therapeutic Behavioral Services to local children;
Telecare Corporation, (not a local vendor) in the amount of $2,875,715, for residential and psychiatric, rehabilitation and mental health services to mentally ill adults;
b) Authorize the Director of ADMHS to approve amendments to the proposed contracts, providing that any such amendments or modifications do not exceed ten percent (10%) of the original total contract value.
