Title: Consider recommendations regarding a contract renewal with HumanGood NorCal dba Valle Verde Retirement Home, Fiscal Years (FY) 2020-2023, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with HumanGood NorCal, a California public benefit corporation, dba Valle Verde (a local vendor) for provision of meals and dietary services for the Psychiatric Health Facility and Crisis Stabilization Unit, for a contract amount not to exceed $156,000.00 per FY and for total contract amount not to exceed $468,000.00 for the period July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023; b) Delegate to the Director of the Department of Behavioral Wellness the authority to make immaterial changes to the Agreement without requiring a formal amendment to the Agreement, subject to the Board's ability to rescind this delegated authority at any time; and c) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms that do not involve any co...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding a contract renewal with HumanGood NorCal dba Valle Verde Retirement Home, Fiscal Years (FY) 2020-2023, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with HumanGood NorCal, a California public benefit corporation, dba Valle Verde (a local vendor) for provision of meals and dietary services for the Psychiatric Health Facility and Crisis Stabilization Unit, for a contract amount not to exceed $156,000.00 per FY and for total contract amount not to exceed $468,000.00 for the period July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023;

 

b) Delegate to the Director of the Department of Behavioral Wellness the authority to make immaterial changes to the Agreement without requiring a formal amendment to the Agreement, subject to the Board’s ability to rescind this delegated authority at any time; and

 

c) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms that do not involve any commitment to any specific project, which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA guidelines.
