Title: Consider recommendations regarding the acceptance of a Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Grant, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Sheriff to sign an agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program in an amount not to exceed $60,602.00 for a project period from January 20, 2020 to January 31, 2022; b) Approve a Budget Revision Request No. 0007198 in the amount of $33,902.00 to increase appropriations in the Sheriff's General Fund for services and supplies ($14,602.00) and Capital Assets ($19,300.00); and c) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "project" pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines, section 15738(b)(4), as it is the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact...
