Title: Consider recommendations regarding reclassifying one position in the County Executive Office and exempting the position from the Civil Service System, as follows: a) Adopt a Resolution effective January 24, 2022 which reclassifies one position in the County Executive Office to the Department Business Specialist I/II-Restricted classification by amending the Salary Resolution; b) Adopt a Resolution effective January 24, 2022 which exempts that Department Business Specialist I/II - Restricted position in the County Executive Office from the County's Civil Service System; and c) Determine that the above action is a government fiscal activity or funding mechanism which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in potential physical impacts on the environment, and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA guidelines.

Consider recommendations regarding reclassifying one position in the County Executive Office and exempting the position from the Civil Service System, as follows:

 

a) Adopt a Resolution effective January 24, 2022 which reclassifies one position in the County Executive Office to the Department Business Specialist I/II-Restricted classification by amending the Salary Resolution;

 

b) Adopt a Resolution effective January 24, 2022 which exempts that Department Business Specialist I/II - Restricted position in the County Executive Office from the County’s Civil Service System; and

 

c) Determine that the above action is a government fiscal activity or funding mechanism which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in potential physical impacts on the environment, and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA guidelines.
